Hey, D&M. Yes I have it, and I just listened to the whole thing in the car during my summer travels. Disc 4 in particular is extremely strong, highlighted by great, tight jazzy play in PitB, followed by an out-there space/feedback/jam. He's Gone is also very tight. Disc 1 is my second favorite with tight, heartfelt versions of everything (even Mexicali Blues!) and another strong PitB. The WRS on disc 2 is just okay, but the one on disc 3 is near-perfect, followed by a great Wharf Rat > Miss 1/2 Step. Here Comes Sunshine on disc 2 has some nice jamming, and the Eyes on disc 2 is solid but not exceptional. Sound quality is fine throughout.

Lou: any chance you can send me your email address? ...or, do you mind if I send an email to the address on your web site (if it's there)? I've only read one article so far and...well..... to state the obvious: that's one of the best web sites on the world-wide web. Fascinating both in terms of historical significance and insight by one of those guy's from the late '50's. Mesmerizing as well.

(I'm still trying to figure out how to get "Jack O'Roses" from flac to something I can listen to.....but that's not the purpose of wanting to send an email.) My email is below; let me know if it's alright to follow-up. --- AshesRising [Jerri1031-dp3 AT yahoo DOT com]
